Between was a webspace-based project blog for my daily notes, launched in March 2008 and active for about five years. By using writing to spark images in the imagination, I turned the blog into an experiential space that accompanied a transitional phase in my practice. In this way, the endeavor acted as a bridge to my visual works. The Between project comprised day-to-day drawings captured spontaneously in the moment.
In the geography of life, human beings remain distant from many things. When the idea of a destination does not imply something fixed or static, it becomes a direction that offers orientation without determining a final point. Once on this path, the movement itself becomes more meaningful than arriving anywhere specific. Thus, life is always moving forward, continually finding itself positioned between its unfolding routes.
