The TeTo project is a collaboration between Tehran-based artist Foad Alijani and Tokyo-based artist Mina Arakaki, reflecting their experiences of their cities. For this idea, they agreed on ten keywords as a starting point for the video project. Alijani filmed in Tehran based on half of these keywords, while Arakaki simultaneously filmed the rest in Tokyo. In the next step, they exchanged their filmed material, and both artists then used the received footage to find and film corresponding scenes from similar angles and concepts in their own cities. They produced a single video from all the combined footage.
